Cause 2: Differentiation

Question 1: What is the effect of differentiated instruction on student achievement?
Question 2:  Are there components of differentiated instruction that have a greater impact on student achievement than others?

The first step to analyze this cause is to determine where we are as a staff pertaining to differentiation.

TASK 1 is to take the Differentiation Survey so that we can gather data.

THIS IS COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS so please be brutally honest.

  1. Thank you for allowing us this venue that saves so much of our time! The survey only took a couple of minutes. That is so much better than a meeting. It would have taken me that long to locate my data notebook and a pencil!

  2. I'm with Wendy--I enjoy participating in professional development through these blogs! This is still causing me to think about my teaching, but it's so much more convenient than sitting through a meeting.

  4. Agree with the above comments. Also, this format allows us to have "think time" without the anxiety of time constraints.
